- 3 1/2 spax screws
- wood filler
- stain (Carbon Gray and Early American)
- Finish (Polyurethane after stain dries)
- Miter saw (or have The Home Depot)
- Table saw
- Kreg Jig (for pocket holes)
- 1 1/2 in pocket hole screws
Cuts
Legs
- 4 - 2x4 @ 34 1/2
- 6 - 2x4 @ 8 1/4 (bottom, middle and top inserts)
Top front/back brace
- 2 - 1 1/8 in wide @ 35 1/2
Middle/bottom shelves
- 2 - 2x10 @ 56
- cut 1 1/8 inch off of 2x10s, use for top front/back braces
Top shelf
Directions
- Attach shelves with 3 1/2 in spax screws
- Attach middle and bop brace at 15 inches in between
- Before proceeding to the next step, sand and fill holes
- Connect legs with front/back brace, then stain (carbon gray). Use pocket hole screws.
- Stain shelves (early american)
- Insert shelves, use spax screws to attach shelves
- Apply finish
