Herringbone Wall

  • MDF Board - 8'x4' (I had The Home Depot cut in 13 in strips so I could get them home and also so I could make additional cuts on with my miter saw)
  • 1 1/4 in Nails
  • Caulk
  • Paint
  • Painters Tape
Window Trim
  • 2 - 1x3x6
  • 1 - 1x4x6
  • 2 - 1x2x6
Tools
  • Miter Saw
  • Brad Nailer
  • Router (3/8 round over bit) - Optional
  • Speed Square
  • Level
  • Paint Sprayer (Optional, paint roller works too)
Directions:
  • Make sure all of your cuts are the same (only exception are edges and if you're working around a window)
  • Optional - Use router to round edges (gives it a tile look)
  • See video - Once all the boards are up, apply caulk around edges and where needed.
